The following has been issued by the Queensland Government on Friday the 15th of May, 2020.

Students in all year levels will return to on-site learning at all state schools from Monday 25 May 2020.

This decision, supported by Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, is in line with the progressive easing of restrictions as part of the Government’s response to COVID-19.

For parents and carers

  • All students in Kindy, Prep and Years 1 to 12 return to their school or community kindergarten from 25 May 2020.
  • Take a look at our https://education.qld.gov.au/students/student-health-safety-wellbeing/student-wellbeing tips to support students’ wellbeing including advice to parents and carers for primary students returning to school.
  • All early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services remain open and operating unless advised otherwise by health authorities.

Let your school, OSHC and/or early childhood service know if your child is unwell and keep them at home.
