Managing health and hygiene

While at school all children continue to wash their hands regularly and have access to hand sanitiser in their classrooms.  All play equipment being utilised by students is disinfected prior to use at each break. Classrooms have windows open to improve ventilation.  Our cleaners are here through the day making sure that door handles and other surfaces are disinfected regularly.

If your child is ill, please do not send them to school.  In the event that a child becomes ill with any flu/cold like symptoms, we will be sending them home as soon as possible.  If we cannot contact you, we will be utilising emergency contacts to ensure that the child is collected as soon as possible.  Our staff will clean the area where the child is kept prior to any other children being allowed in the space.

Congregating

In line with the health recommendations and the conditions currently being enforced by the police, parents are not to meet in our carparks and wait for students.  Nor can any parents or children stay on the school grounds after school unless the children are in PCYC after school care.  This does include play equipment such as the spider-web.
